Показать описание
In a way that everyone can understand, this video features Adam talking with:
Dr Hazel Hall-Roberts
Postdoctoral Researcher, University of Oxford
I work on risk genes for Alzheimer's disease that are expressed highly in microglia, and I study them in a dish using human induced pluripotent stem cell models of microglia - @HazelLRoberts
Dr Mark Dallas
Associate Professor Neuroscience, University of Reading
My work looks at non neuronal cells and their potential to combat Alzheimer's. Cellular work looking a ion channels on glial cells and changes in their function long before clinical presentation. In addition, we are looking at the ability of carbon monoxide to suppress amyloid toxicity and be a neuroprotectant - @drmarkdallas
Asking questions, and helping everyone to know more about some of the great research taking place to beat dementia.
