You have a couple BRKs in the mail to me. So far I am very impressed with your customer service and your company. I ordered a couple knives on Saturday night and by Sunday afternoon had changed my mind about one of them. I wanted a different knife. I got in touch with Greg really easily Monday and we worked it out in under a minute over the phone. I'm also impressed with your web page. No pics if item is not in stock. Really great. Updates instantly I noticed as well. Major thumbs up!!!

Hi Derrick, I'm a 3knife carry guy, I have to laugh when I say that
Most times i don't count my neck knife, which I carry almost all the time, which could be my Bark River Woodland to my Bark k-14. or even
my John Bradley "Worlds Best Camp Knife". or my Rod Garcia Skookum, and many other I love, anyhow I started my Barkies with the Bravo 1, then the Bravo 2, then I needed a nice chopper so I went with the Golok, all in the Green Jade G-10, the Bravo 1 as great as it is almost all purpose. I needed something smaller, for no other reason, i like to carry a neck knife, I fell in love with the Barkies, and all are A-2 steel, then I found how good of steel the 3V was, I started my Black G-10 Handle set, I got the Bravo 1, but no Bravo 2 in 3V, so I got the Bravo 1.5, I didn't like the lines on my Bravo 1, and wasn't happy with the customer service at Bark River, so I bought another one, so now I have two Bravo 1's, the other day I found on YouTube that they came out with the Bravo 3, so that will make up a great 3knife carry set, instead of waiting for a 3V Golok, I want to go with the B'3, so my 3V set will be the Bravo 1, 1.5, and the Bravo 3, and maybe you can suggest what knife I should get for a neck knife in 3V, please send me your info and how I can contact you, Thanx in adance, I enjoyed your video

Well my Magnum Fox River with buckeye burl scales and my Bravo I USMC with ironwood and mosaic pins arrived and I - am - in - love. These are the best knives I have ever owned. These A2 steel blades are scary sharp out of the box. I will be getting strops for them asap. Now I wait for a Fox River with scarlet and gold elder burl scales. Again in A2. Echoing David ... I didn't always carry a FBK ... but I frickin do now!

Say Heah again Derek. I started my B R Set with the Bravo 1 I got a pretty good set of them in A-2, , I can use that set taking all of them on a extended trip, or I can double up taking a bigger knife with a smaller knife depending what I'm doing, But one of my Fav's the Bravo 1 has such a thin edge, yeah, it's very sharp but delicate because of that. Using it for normal use it simply rockes, But use it hard it rolls a little, I think it's because of tge very thin sharp edge. I still consider it as one of my Fav's. But I'm also starting a new set in 3V and the Bravo 1 was the start again. But I also got the Bravo 1.5 in 3V that I'm liking alot. Yeah Bark River Rocks., ,, ,

Most recent BRK is the Gunny Scandi CPM 3V. Amazing steel and blade geometry make for tree carving fun. Got a bushcraft sheath and made my own firesteel plus a dangler...so it can dangle. It's like..."I don't always use a fixed blade knife, but when I do, it's a Bark River".

I love my Bravo 1, and I was able to use my points to get a strop for free! Also took advantage of that great deal a while back; ordered a Lon Humphrey, got a FREE little creek. I have been carrying the little creek in my pocket every day, I use it for food prep when I am out of the house. To back up Reed Scott, I too have had a wonderful experience with customer service. Trish went ahead and took my custom order for my Bravo 1 even though she already sent in the orders to BRKT.

What Bark River knives needs? That's my opinion but I think they need more models in Elmax steel and Kydex sheat. where I hunt and camp is very humid it rain all the time and when doesn't rain, snow!

Can someone tell me the reason for the tang extension out the back of the knife being the way it is?  It seems that pounding would crush it.  And since there's a lanyard hole in the handle, it must not be for that purpose.  So why isn't it just solid?

Why Bark River knives? Because are the BEST OF THE BEST in the world. It is 35 years or more I collect knives and I own more than 600 knives from all the brands and more than 100 custom made( some on my design) and in my life I have seen thousands and thousands (maybe 20 thousands or even more) but Bark River are the best of all brands knives and even many custom can't stand beside of them. I like they changed steel from A2 to 3V and S35V.

For those considering purchasing a Bark River knife and struggling with the price, keep in mind that Bark River sheaths are going to be considerably higher quality than that other lower-priced knife you may be considering. So when you factor that in, it becomes easier to justify paying a little higher price for the knife.
