I have 2 scottish folds and I think they prefer interactive toys because they want to interact with their owners.

I have a Scottish manx and the first 3 years we moved often from one tiny apt to the next. He did just fine in a small apt. I did leash train him so I could take him on a walk every day. But I think he would've been fine without the walk if I just made sure he had plenty of toys.
