He's using the same technique here vocally as in the studio, just the mix in studio makes it sound bigger, he is unwell at the moment too, so that would also explain why it doesn't sound perfect vocally too!

Ich bin Fan von Judas Priest seit 1986. Ich hab Priest 2019 das letzte mal live gesehen und das war stellenweise schon hart mitanzusehen. Das hier ist noch schwerer zu ertragen. Faulkner/Sneap sind sicher gute Gitarristen, aber die Magie zwischen Downing/Tipton fehlt ihnen einfach. Halford gibt alles, aber er kann sich scheinbar nicht eingestehen, daß seine große Zeit schwindet. Er ist eine Legende und sollte als Mythos abtreten, nicht als Karikatur.

i dont know how long halford can keep these screammin parts up, i noticed here its not very good, i figured when i heard the album, I thought, oboy, he's gonna have a hard time with this, and well, he is..oh well, i won't listen to live anymore, I'm burnt out already from all of these videos..i like the studio WAAAAYYYY BETTER, of course...Good luck Rob, the Band KICKS ASS AS ALWAYS!!!..

As a big fan, can't not hear that so far Rob sound horrible in upper register, like in about 2006 when his voice was very cracky the last time. Hope it's just some cold etc. and he'll get better during the tour.
