I used to be so confused about the construction of se me olvido - until I realized that the verb in this case is being used in a different way. It is akin to "it escapes me" in English. We don't use that phrase all that often in the US, but it's the best way I can explain the direct translation of se me olvido.

Your videos are really cool guys, I wish I'd found your channel when I was starting out. I spent a lot of my time in Spain some of these I've heard but not all, I'll have to listen out for them.

¡¡Qué onda!! Otro video bien chingón y súper útil 👍. En el español mexicano, todas las frases en este video son indispensables!

Nunca había escuchado eso de "deste y desta", gracias por eso. Suena mucho mejor que "Pásame esa madre" jajajajaja

Y eso de ¿Cómo amaneciste" es muy pero muy común, la gente se usa como sinonimo de "cómo estás" en las mañanas todo el tiempo.

My first viewing of one of your videos -- and I enjoyed and learned from it. As an estadounidense, I'm "used" to hearing and understanding the king's (British) English, but, I have to tell you, honestly, it is grating to hear that heavy accent applied to Spanish. We gringos expect latinos to properly pronounce English words (although it is MUCH harder for them). We should strive to not only speak Spanish fluidly but also to approximate the sonido del espanol.

Que descanses: can also mean "may you have a relaxing time"? For example, a synonym of "relájate un poco"?.... Or only used to mean "sleep well" ?

Entertaining. Como ves could also mean "how do you see it?"

My Tica wife (pictured) uses, "Cómo amaneció?" I guess it's formal with the Ud. dropped off. Since she always uses it in the morning upon awaken, I eventually figured out she was asking how I slept.
Chunche (Ticoism = thing when you can't remember what to call it.)
Mae = dude
Chuzma = a low life, bad person.
