Micro Geckos are amazing! We definitely need to promote smaller species in the hobby. They are extremely underrepresented and we can provide such complex habitats for them due to their small size. Your build turned out great! Can’t wait to see more of these lil cuties! 😍

There's actually quite a bit of things you could feed them besides crickets and fruit flies. Spring tails, dwarf or baby isopods, baby mealworms (just leave a mealworm container on the counter for a couple months and you will end up with swarms of them. Found this out accidently), bean beetles, and rice flour beetles.

I love microgeckos! I currently have a female coleonyx brevis, and hope to get some sphaerodactylus species (torrei or grandisquamis) soon. They're so easy to house and care for, and are certainly great for people with limited space.

Also, there are a lot of great feeders asides from tiny crickets; i currently culture rice flour beetles, peanut beetles and Buffalo beetles, who's larvae are all tiny and nutritious for geckos. You can also raise isopods, springtails, and micro roaches (still uncommon though) which are all great feeders for tiny geckos.

After watching the video I can't find steudneri in the US. Most micro geckos I find really aren't true micro geckos. I really like these guys a lot. Thanks for showing me something new!

Would love to see more content on your emerald green tree skinks, I’ll be getting some in spring, found a breeder with 2 captive bred females, she said of the 19 babies she had 17 of them turned out male😅

Probably the cutest geckos I’ve ever seen

A nice live food that is quite easy to breed en masse is firebrats.
Perfect size for T steudneri and many others from the Tropiocolotes genus.

Great video. If microcrickets aren't available, will other tiny food items complete their diet? Would fruit flies, springtails, isopods, flour beetles, and bean beetles be options? I don't want to get an animal that won't thrive in my care.

I have a crested gecko so a bit different but my question has to do with the substrate and the size of the crickets. Do you dump the crickets in there and they find them by themselves? How can you make sure they are eating? I do kinda the same with mine, put in the dubias and when i clean his enclosure i dont see them so obviously hes eating, but how can you tell with the natural substrate?

Would a ten gallon be -too- large for a trio?
