En satellit tillhörande miljardären Peter Swann (Brendan Fraser) exploderar och för att skydda sitt globala imperium från hänsynslösa rivaler, korrupta regeringar och brottssyndikat anlitas den härdade före detta kontraspionage-officeren Corbo (Tom Welling). Corbo rekryterar en grupp skickliga legosoldater för att undersöka explosionen. Från sin bas i västra Kapprovinsen i Sydafrika kämpar Corbo och hans elitsoldater mot tiden för att hitta den som förstörde Peter Swanns senaste satellituppskjutning, och därmed hindra en ny attack på hans nästa resa till rymden, nu med människor ombord.

August Wittgenstein, Elena Anaya, Stevel Marc och Ken Duken ses i andra ledande roller i detta spännande actiondrama.
