I too am surprised that a company that makes such expensive speakers, does not have a isolated room....

I see why YGs are so unforgiving in the setup phase. There philosophy is more about the performance and precision of the speaker. I've heard a few of this engineers interviews. Not once have I heard him talk about wide dispersion like you always hear with the Germans and Scandinavians. I would imagine YGs making great studio monitors as they are very unforgiving as well.

Perhaps the ears are less critical than the mic and software. We are all to critical, just enjoy the darn music.
