Pretty much the only downfall of bedrock edition is the limited support for modding because they want people to use the marketplace. I wouldn’t complain about the marketplace if it had good content but it doesn’t. You can still mod bedrock and there is technically support for it but nobody makes good mods.

My guy the wither is hard because it's actually a boss. You guys in Java just dig 100 blocks down and make a 7x7 room to kill the wither. We bring along some Nakamas and fight it head to head with Bows, Swords and explosives. Then we have to chase it down and try to crit him and the one who does the most damage will be the one to gain the Wither Star

Theres 2 reasons why i prefer bedrock (yet i still use java while having bedrock)
1. The game runs faster than it does on java
2. Giga op gold farms with trident killchambers

i mean, considering that 99% percent of all devices get no acces to java (java is pc exclusive and actively competes with bedrock there as well) then it makes sense that bedrock edition is the more popular one and, when push comes to shove and updating the java script will become too time consuming, java edition will most likely end up being discontinued with bedrock edition becoming the true version and java becoming the "original version", wich in all fairness C++ will have to be replaced at some point too but it will take longer for that to happen than with java script

I play both versions, and will add that ore generation on bedrock seems to be a little nicer, but can't confirm an actual difference. Haven't looked it up

The thing is some of the changes were made because of how c++ works differently from Javascript so some of the changes where made because they had to reside most dearyrs from scratch so that's why a lot of things work slightly differently

Edit:people have pointed out to me that Javascript and Java are 2 diferent coding languages and while I dident know that my point still stands Java, what Java edition was coded in, and C++, what bedrock edition was coded in, are 2 compleatly diferent coding languages that needed certan things to be coded differently which is the reason for most of the tiny differences between both versions
