Thank you so much for the informative video. We are going on our first MSC cruise on the Seaside in 3 weeks and so far it seems to be going very smooth. Thanks again

we always book our excursions outside the ship but they're not for that long. maybe a couple hours. so enough time to get back on the ship

Thank you for making such fun and informative videos! Quick question, if I purchase the 2 device and I am charged per person, does that mean we get 4 devices?..

Went on Norwegian last year, the internet was also only for one device, you have to pay separately per each device.

So how do I do the ala carte?? Do I book that on the ship cause I was going to do the specialty dining package. Can I just make a reservation for the specialty place and do ala carte that way????

Do you recommend to get the fun pass??

I do prefer private excursions more but there are times when it is best to go with the cruiseline. By the way, most agents can get you a lower price if the price of the cruise goes down. Cruise lines do not watch for that. They hope you won’t realize that the price went down.

TY for you videos! as a solo cruiser, are you allowed to get 2 for 1 deals just for yourself? i realize a day in the thermal suite for 2 people won't make sense, but things like massages or hair/nail situations?

in regards to getting the specialty dining package in adv for others; it's $71 for 3 meals of your choice if you pay adv, (only 1 steak house visit per package) but if you buy the the pre fixe meals on board, it could be that price just for 1 venue.

If you'd like to deviate from the pre fixe menu for other items NOT on the pre fixe specialty menu, it's half-off the a la carte price, which still makes it cheaper in many regards. all of the SDR menus are available to see online if you're interested to weigh the values out for yourself; but there are some important caveats; the Hibachi does cost extra on the ship, $10 or greater, depending on the level of proteins you select. You also have access to $5 tickets to any of the "cirque" style shows, vs the $12 you pay in adv as a solo resv, or $18 on board.

IMO; the sushi pre fixe is not for everyone if you don't like certain things like octopus or hand rolls, so i personally will order a la carte for my sushi night. AND; the mexican SDR and any brunch SDR won't be worth using as your specialty punch card options; both are cheaper WITHOUT the adv specialty dining package which is around $23pp/meal for the 3 SDR options. Mexican is $17.99 for all you can eat anyways, and brunch is WELL below that price from what i've seen as well.
