I'm the average YouTube lurker who never almost never comments, but i just wanna say your work is greatly appreciated. It baffles me why anyone would complain about you being on camera or MT hosting. Both of you are amazing hosts and deserve all the praise for your hard work.

I LOVE the rivalry between Heavy Spoilers and Screen Crush!!! It’s my favorite thing on the internet!!!! 🤣

It’s crazy to think that a person in this day and age would click on a video from a channel called “Heavy Spoilers” and then complain that they were spoiled. Thanks for the video Paul, you’re one of the good ones. ❤

ZERO NEED to explain yourself. LOVE you being on screen. LOVE heavy spoilers. Great format. LOVE the geekery. I just put this channel on and run it for hours. You add so much to the channel by giving your own personal commentary so keep doing what you do

As a YouTube editor for several big channels it’s great to see that you value your editors highly. To put it into context he’s paying his editors double the industry standard for an editing style that is way less intensive compared to other channels this size. What a guy

Your honesty, integrity and transparency is refreshing and appreciated. Dropping content you love vs. for the sake of views or money is highly respected.

I request you to never skip theory time...its part of the reason i have been subscribed for 6 years now

Paul's personality is why I watch. I laugh when he "reaches" and the Hobbits appear and when he mumbles Theory Time.

Authenticity is a HUGE point. Not only when it's against ai, but the fact that you would do a video like this being fully honest about your content, it shows a lot about ho much you truly care.

This kind of honesty immediately raises you above most channels

Out of all the Movie Explained YouTube channels that popped up in like 2018-2022 that I used to watch, you're the only one that I still keep watching. It shows in your Classic Movie Breakdowns that you have passion behind what you're making & that bit of energy keeps me invested. I'm also ngl the day before the Dr No breakdown came out I watched the movie casually for the first time just for me to wake up the next day & see the breakdown.

Started watching New Rockstars, Emergency Awesome, ScreenCrush & you years ago. You’re the only one I return to watch videos with. The humor always stuck and the flow which you go through the content, but now, even just the books you read from, in the LOTR breakdowns add something to it. Sometimes I don’t even watch the video, just listen while in the car or doing prep at my business, especially the longer more in depth cinema focused breakdowns. Keep doing your thing man.

"Welcome to the Heavy Spoilers show. Otherwise known as the video you watch while you wait for New Rockstars to post theirs." I dont remember which video that is from, but I remember that opener. It made me actually laugh out loud. I have been watching since. I find the videos of you on camera more engaging. Just IMO.

This was a great behind the scense video. Keep up the good work!

I will say, I definitely prefer the channels that have a real person breaking things down and you get at least a glimpse at them, like “Oh! That’s who is speaking to me!” As soon as I hear AI voice I close out that video. I also appreciate breaking down what you find interest in and also adding in the fun vibe and little inside jokes. I love the Heavy Spoilers and Screen Crush “rivalry”. It’s nice to know you guys are just making videos to make them and you aren’t trying to meet a quota or force yourself into media you don’t want to do research into.

I’ve watched you, Ryan and Voss first for years because I know, value and trust you guys.
Definitely the right move to have more face on screen time. Humans are programmed to connect when we see faces.
Keep doing what you love. We love what you do. Respect 👊

I think focusing on content you're genuinely passionate about, rather than chasing trends or view counts, is a fantastic decision. It’s clear in your work when you truly enjoy what you’re creating, and as viewers, we can feel that authenticity. The fact that you’re not corporate-owned, don’t have a boss, and aren’t tied to sales targets is such a huge advantage—that’s what being a YouTuber is all about. It gives you the freedom to create without compromise, and you’re doing it nicely.

BTW, Severance Season 2 is coming out this Friday, hope you cover them Paul.

I watch your channel for YOUR reviews and breakdowns. So seeing you on camera is great.

I really really appreciate that you are taking care of your staff so well. Not all heroes wear capes!

Also, I think you've touched on the root of "super hero fatigue". Honestly it's only fatiguing if you feel compelled to watch every single thing. It's so much healthier to just watch what interests you and ignore the rest instead of watching everything and getting angry you don't like half of it.

As a LONG time fan, and semi new Youtuber who covers movies and TV shows, I really appreciated this. This video was so helpful for me to see that one of my favorites on the platform with over 1M followers has ups and downs, struggles and worries like I do with only 12k subs. Thanks for being transparent about everything including your mental health which really isn't our business. I was kinda freaked out seeing you on screen so much 😂 but figured it was due to copyright stuff. I enjoy the new format. Its fun! Looking forward to the new years worth of content!
