2023 X1 sdrive 28i. Drives smooth, a great commuter car. Averaging 33-34 mpg for the entire tank every time. Easily get 40+ mpg on the highway. Zip zap so effortlessly, acceleration is fun. Got a speeding ticket as a result. I mean, it's BMW.

A very beautiful, stylish and well-proportioned car! It looks expressive from every angle! I really like the headlights and taillights. There is also a very high-quality and stylish interior inside. The big screen looks very harmonious, perhaps better than on any other BMW model. Well done designers, great job!

Drove the 2023 model as a rental last year and I loved it for the two weeks I had it. Not sure why this model gets a lot of hate. Looks like in 2025 they addressed some of the interior space issues. This product I think meets the standards for what you would guess a BMW entry-level product would be.

I recently purchased a 2025 X1. Love it. My only complaint is when I got home I went to program the garage door opener and THERE WASN’T ONE 😩. Why would they not put that in. Over all I’m extremely happy with my purchase.

Picked one of these up a year ago (my first BMW and first new car). After a year and a half of ownership I’m satisfied with the car. Not amazed. Driving dynamics are far superior to the GLB or Q3, I was a little surprised at how playful the chassis is. The adaptive suspension in the M sport is not as smooth as the rest. Power is more than adequate, if you spring for the M sport package you get a boost feature. Fuel mileage is absolutely incredible. The DCT is awesome once it’s out of 1st. It is jerky at low speeds (kind of the nature of DCTs), but when it’s cold it’ll almost snap your neck from how hard the clutch engagement is. Seats are awesome in the M sport for being on the sportier side.

Test drove it and honestly I was overwhelmed with the dizzying screen and options and all that. Simplicity is gone and it’s overwhelming now. I’m sure I’ll get adjusted to it in a day but initial feedback was that. Also the pickup was quite low and 0-60 took a bit like 8s? It’s quiet inside however and very comfortable. It’s a bmw after all.
A good buy for sure if you compromise a bit. Price is nice around $52k with tech pkg. oh and the hud is cool but imo it got irritating because of bucket seats you have to raise it higher to see and then it’s interfering with your view.

In Europe awd is optional, as are the 1.5 phev and a two liter diesel 😊
