A violinist living in a bomb shelter in the northeastern Ukrainian city of Kharkiv, March 7, 2022, played the violin in a performance dedicated to her late grandmother.

Dressed in professional attire, Vera Lytovchenko, a violinist and teacher, traded a theater for a Kharkiv basement as she performed her solo while turning to the camera.

At least 27 civilians have been killed in attacks by Russian forces on Kharkiv in the past 24 hours, regional police said Tuesday.
