A lot of people are missing the point, he RESISTED ARREST and wanted to drive off. It’s not hard to do as your told when dealing with police. If he didn’t resist they would have booked him and he would have been out in a day or two. People don’t think sometimes. The young man was wrong for what he did and it cost him his life. Sad

Daunte Demetrius Wright didn't try and evade arrest because he was scared of his plates being expired. He was scared because he had an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court for a misdemeanor possession of a firearm, but the news won't report that.
