Crazy how much the market changed since then. This is a 60-85k build in today's market.

Watching your vids through the years of the build on this car is what got me totally hooked on Autorestomod. I was also fortunate enough to see the finished project at the 50th in Charlotte. Video and pictures don't do the car justice. It is a totally gorgeous and top notch effort. I know you told me then that you may have to sell it, sorry to see it's come to that. I look forward to what's in the future and know it'll be equally great. Good luck Jeff and keep up the good work!

@Travis Gillette We'd recommend doing the top after paint.

My son favors the 67, still in high school, doesn't have his driver license. Sadly, many "projects" fall short, simply because of time. I'm still hunting for a father son project. Simply can't afford much, have access to a shop because I work at an inspection station. Just bought 13 years of Car Craft magazines, and made my subscription ;) Love old cars! I'm doing work on a 64 Impala SS, can occasionally get to work on a 63 Belvedere (Shop Owners car) :)
I work for free, as long as he teaches, win win. But do make money in repairing Semi trailers and small utility trailers as well.
Keeping my eye open.

Oh the horror! I had a Bullit green 67 hardtop, 4 speed top loader, limited slip, headers, cam, etc. I drove it for 7 years before selling it to a buyer in Belgium. I still miss the car today.

Jeff, if you don't restore a Ford, go MOPAR, or an AMC. Personally, even though I'm a Ford guy I'm tired of Chevy's and Stangs. Let's do something different! How about a 66-67 Belvedere, 71 Road Runner or an `69 AMX??

In 1976 my best friend bought a 67 Fastback for $900, a year later he traded it and got $300 for it. As 16 year olds, yes, we had $600 of fun in it ;)

Then we rolled his 75 Duster...

you could always find a 1964 Fairlane and do a Thunderbolt clone. Or get a '64/'66 Thunderbird. So many on Craigslist in SC. Just some ideas. I'll still watch all the videos regardless of the build. well, as long as it's a classic... and American Muscle.

@rat fink: So the fact that we are building a '69 Fairlane, a '64 Falcon, and a '65 Mustang hardtop not enough Ford for you?!
