February 2025 GAS PRICES in Palm Springs, CA!

It's February 26, 2025 and I just filled up my car with gas at our local Tower Market gas station in Palm Springs, CA.

My Gas Buddy app said Walmart and Pilot gas prices were a little cheaper in Palm Springs today, but Tower Market is a lot closer to our home, so I filled up there.

I paid $4.36 per gallon today, which was almost 40 cents more per gallon than I paid last month.

I just paid $4.54 in Sacramento. And that was cheap. Easy $5.00 most places.

Good morning. Tucson gas prices today range from $2.89 - $2.92. In January it was at $3.09 so that’s a nice change. I gave up driving 16 years ago and ride our buses which are free and have been since 2020.

Gas here where i usually go is up to $4.45 a gallon. I paid $49.94 to fill up. Last month was around $46.00 to fill up. Thanks for doing this Steve. You and Jim take care.

Good morning! Here in western NY I filled up yesterday 3.39 a gallon. My grandson who lives in a larger city has lower prices or did. This was the first gas I have bought this year. That white stuff that kept falling kept me home! Spent my money on having it plowed off my driveway. LOL. I did a Walmart pickup and I don’t think prices rose a lot. I live as far from New York City as I do Chicago for those who always think big city when you hear NY. Most everyone I know has never been there and has no desire to go. We were at $3.53 in Mesa, AZ last Sunday but we got $1 off a gallon thanks to Fry’s!

Hey, Steve. The only time our gas in the Midwest was almost half your price, was probably when yours was $5.50-6 a gallon. Southwest Wisconsin here, and it's $3.10 a gallon and it's the same over in Iowa today. I was pleasantly surprised your gas was so low when we were visiting last month. It was just a little higher than here. We really shouldn't complain though. Our wages are 5 times what they were in the late 80's, early 90's and gas has only doubled. The price of food has tripled or quadrupled, so there's that. Have a good one!😁✌

Here in North Central Fl, it's $2.95 at Walmart. I ache for you in California! Florida is not a bad place to live..other than hurricanes! No State income tax, and in many cases, including food, we're normally less expensive than other states and we enjoy 4 seasons and beautiful weather most all year. No complaints from this New York born and raised gal who moved south many years ago. Waving Steve. 😅

Hi Steve! Here in Santa Fe, NM today gas is $2.69. Even though I’m retired and mostly just drive around this smaller city, I seem to use a lot of gas, filling up about every 2 weeks. But my 6 cyl Kia telluride is not good on gas 😢 although very comfortable! Maybe in a year or two I will transition to a hybrid or certainly smaller car 🚙.

Hi Steve, here in the Phoenix area regular gas is around $3.65 but just about a month ago it was only $3.09 so it has taken a big jump here also. Like you I don't have to drive very much luckily.

Steve, on the GasBuddy List page, under each price you'll see the name or handle of the person who entered the price and WHEN that price was noted. Not uncommon to see prices two or three days old. Once you click on the station you may see that different grades of fuel were reported at different times.
Walmart PS pricing is confusing to non-regular GasBuddy reporters...because the street sign on Crossley Rd shows Cash and Walmart+ Member prices and no mid-grade prices.
FYI, you can change the 'current location' at the top of the List or Map page to enter other cities. But you are right not to drive to Indio to save 10¢ a gallon! If I'm headed toward LA I do check the prices at Cabazon because the casino gas station usually has really good prices if I'm going that direction.
If you see 'ylseeker' prices, those are mine. Rideshare Drivers do a lot of GasBuddy reporting!
Tip: If Indian Canyon at the Wash is closed, check the Arco Station at Rosa Parks. It can have a lower price than Tower Market on Indian because Arco loses so much traffic coming off of I-10.

I read the article that places the blame on two factors: a refinery is offline and the switch to a different blend for the summer. Thankfully here in Thailand no changes to blend as it’s always summer and the government sets the price of fuel which rarely changes. I use diesel which is $3.55 a gallon and I know regular gas is a little bit higher.

I live in Beaumont so when I go to PS I fill up at Morongo. It was $4.29 yesterday. I flew to Washington from PS airport. It was crowed with lots of travelers which I was surprised in the mid-week.
