I love how they show steven’s progress with mastering his powers in just the intros. In the first he doesn’t have a fully grasp on them, and so he stays behind following the gems. In the second he’s halfway through, still following the gems but can do a bit on his own. In the last he’s in the lead, having a full mastery on his powers and leading the gems.
