I've been following these guys since they opened for Deep Purple, a couple of years ago. I just got through seeing them again, with another great young band, Dirty Honey. No one knows how happy it makes this 60 year old to hear great young talent out there, still making the kind of music I've loved my whole life.
Joyous Wolf is definitely it's own thing, but I can't help but imagine them as Van Halen, if Sammy had been the original singer.
