For some reason I've always wanted an accord 6mt coupe, but seriously if this had awd or rwd it would be GOLD.

I purchased a 2016 Accord Coupe EX-L V6 6MT w/HFP kit last November. It had only 2500 miles on it and was in stellar condition. It is my first Coupe since I got rid of my 2007 Accord Coupe EX back in 2012, and my first Manual transmission car since I got rid of my 1995 Accord Coupe LX back in 2004. Needless to say, I'm not a noob when it comes to the Honda Accord.

The be clear, I loved my 2007 Accord EX. While it was lacking power, it was a very nice car inside and out, was easy to work on (if you ever needed to work on it), but mostly, it was super comfortable to drive on a daily basis. My 2007 was an Automatic because my wife didn't want a manual. My 1995 (purchased in 2000) was a manual, and was one of the best shifting cars I had ever driven. I knew when it was time to purchase a new Accord, I wanted to get back into one of Honda's wonderful manual gearboxes.

Boy, was I surprised when I got into the 2016 Accord. It had a lot of power! It's not a pony car, nor does it market itself as one, but it has a great jump and has plenty of passing power. The way it shifts through gears, to me, is up there with the way I felt driving an MX-5, but in a heavier, more comfortable Accord. For the price, I don't think you get as much bang for the buck in the $30k price range (cheaper now if you get used since the new Accord is out).

I'm 35 and not looking to tune, so I'm sure tuners will find ways to make the car go faster and be louder, but I think it just looks, sounds, and drives great as is.

28 million engines, wow that is a lot of engines. Great review, fun to watch and packed with good info on the 2016 Honda Accord

the 2017, without the knob- not needed as volume is on steering wheel; the dual screen again for safety is AMAZING! Love this car as it looks great, wheels included.

I just bought the exact car as a second car to a 2022 Mazda 3 GT AWD Turbo and was reminded why I owned and loved Honda’s especially with the 3.5 V6
W/ 6 speed & even though it’s a more then a few yrs older it has really low k’s and drives beautifully especially on the highway getting damn good fuel economy. These cars with low k’s are becoming difficult to find and they hold their value nicely.
I find I am choosing to drive the more comfortable Accord more then the 3 Turbo especially now that it’s spring here in Canada.
This V6 Accord Coupe will be missed, it already is.
Appreciate the video

A friend of mine has a 6th gen Accord coupe with the V6 and he's let me drive it a couple of times. It's a very nice car with some good power. I wouldn't say that it's mind kind of car, but for what he uses it for, it's a great car.

As someone who's 2nd used car was a cheap piece of shit 1990 Accord, it's just mind bending how far the Accord has come from that car. This car is in a whole different universe compare to my '90 sedan.

Kudos to your sound guy. Your microphone is so good I'm constantly hearing you rub your hands across the steering wheel instead of listening to you speak.

I have a 2015 Accord Coupe EX-L V6, I took a road trip out to Colorado and let me tell you driving to Vail through the mountains the car felt like half the cylinders stopped working. At sea level this car is fun and fast, but up in the mountains it feels like driving a heavy truck with no power. My biggest complaint about this car, is how bad the brakes are. The brakes fade way too fast, I was relying heavily on my transmission and down shifting while driving through the mountains, I only had 36, 000 miles and my brakes were fried. I had to constantly pull over while driving through the mountains to let my brakes cool down. Overall I absolutely love the car, wish the seats were a bit more comfortable, but then again if I can sit in the car for 18 hours straight the seats aren't too bad.

The only thing that I like better than the 2015 (I own a 2014 model) is the headlights, they had LED in Canada as an option but didn't do it in the US till now.. WTH? The snout I could get used to, and maybe my bias but I like the lines of the previous design. The white part of the tail lights make me think of the Chrysler emblem but split in half to the opposite sides of the car.
Also- showing the HFP edition here and not mentioning anything of it can make people think this is what the Accord Coupe "normally" looks like- which is not true.
I kind of wish the 2016 Accord Sedan tail lights came over to this coupe!
