Guys it highly depends on the material of the cloth/towel. silly material is the easiest so try to use something as close as silk/satin

You can’t just haphazardly wrap your hair around it, you need to make sure you wrap round clean sections without loose hair bunched up around it. Also, always take out your curling band from the top, you have to push down on the top of the curls to hold it in place and not move with the band. Always do one side at a time to avoid a tangled mess. Oil your hands, spread it on your hair and finger out your curls or brush each section once with a bore bristle brush to get really soft diffused curls. Light Hair spray and job done.

This is and old trick, my Mom used to use pillow case ripped into strips. less knotting in your hair. This is a trick that's 40 or more years old...be revived! Love it!

To use heatless curlers you have to grab the top and shake it to get even and good results, it will take a minute so be patient. You have to let it fall because it will/should turn into a blowout. Hope this helps!

I've had the same issue, you need to untwist your hair from the bottom slowly and carefully. it's annoying but it's doable

When I was a little girl my mother used strips of material (fabric) to tie on sectioned parts of hair, wound up and tied at top. Worked great. Bouncey curls would last all day.
