I think we should be focussing our attention on how we keep the animals we've got that are threatened with extinction.

A lot of people don't seem to realize that the ecosystem is likely no longer balanced for a species that has been gone as long as the mammoth and sabre toothed tiger Just think of how much flora the mammoth would eat and how many animals the sabre toothed tiger would hunt and kill. If any species is brought back it should be one that has been gone within decades to maybe four or five centuries from the present.

The bear, wolf and lynx have all been extinct in the UK for centuries but there are reintroduction plans for the wolf and lynx . I wonder how they would affect the British ecosystem after being gone so long ? Would they go extinct again ? Would they be a danger to pets or livestock ? Would they be a danger to humans ? Would they be persecuted once again ?

I can think of two movies that both inspired people and also warned us of playing god. Jurassic Park and Terminator 1 will lead to humankind being destroyed by its own creations, yet to this day we are still trying to achieve both. When will we ever learn

Who cares if a wooly mammoth wouldn't eat you, it can easily stomp you! It doesn't even need to be hungry to do that.

Ok I only have a few problems with the list here…. The sabertooth tiger would most likely see us as possible prey… and the woolly mammoths would eat much more than elephants so possible to upset the ecosystem … then I don’t think we need the giant sloth either
