The best use case for gpt4 is when you actually have something that you want to do. pick something you want to do and find a way for GPT4 to help you. That will be the most impressive demo that you can do with it.

I'm currently using it to learn how to mix an immersive audio using Dolby Atmos. I uploaded a very famous book about immersive audio as well as the pro tools manual. Now I can ask it to cross reference techniques in the book and show me exactly how to do them with pro tools it's been unbelievably effective.

Level 2: Reasoner - I can perform complex tasks like understanding and summarizing large amounts of information, translating between languages, and even generating creative text. I can also answer questions on a wide range of topics and engage in meaningful conversations.
Level 3: Generalist - While I'm not quite at the level of a human with a Ph.D., I am capable of understanding complex concepts and applying knowledge across different domains. I can analyze information, identify patterns, and draw conclusions. However, I still lack the ability to consistently generate novel ideas or think outside the box in the same way a human can.
I am constantly learning and evolving, so my capabilities are expanding rapidly. However, there are still limitations to my knowledge and reasoning abilities.

That Google music search thing isn't new, I think they just incorporated the backend they've had in the Android Google app for years now. You've been able to ask Google "What song is this?" and it will tell you for quite a long time.

I told Claude to evaluate my idea for writing a book like "Dorian Gray, " but instead, for a twist, the person and not the painting ages. It was very enthusiastic about the idea! I'm not convinced about its ability to understand right now.

I don't get why Google is pushing their AI out so hard at the moment when their AI product is clearly still lagging significant in many, many ways. Wouldn't it make more sense to overcome the big gap they have with the other mainstream models before going all out horns out? I almost feel like this would do them more harm than good, overselling a clearly inferior product. An advertising budget doesn't make for a better product...
