Jeff Hardy's return in late 2006 quickly made him a major star in WWE, even bigger than previously. His mentality and outlook seemed more mature compared to previously and in ring, he was much better. I loved a bunch of his tag matches with Matt and of course the ladder match with Johnny Nitro stands out to me. What did you think of Jeff Hardy's return in 2006?

Man, Jeff hardy returning in 2006 to me was epic, Because he go on there and probably had the best run of his carrer in 2008-2009, I was always one of the biggest jeff hardy fanboy. So him returning might not seem huge to some people compared to his other return, But to me this was special.

Jeff was a Generation defining Star. He brought wwe on screen for so many kids outside of America.

Jeff was more popular than Cena at one point. He could've been a bigger star honestly. His feud with Umaga for the IC title was underrated lowkey.

Jeff is what spiderman is to marvel or what allen iverson is to the nba to pro wrestling, isn’t really the best or most skilled but people just gravitate and relate to them and you can’t force that.

They just ooze coolness and charisma. They just have IT. It’s inexplicable.

The fact that he immediately competed in 4 ladder matches in the span of year all over again like it was 00-01 & delivered in all of them just like he did in the 00-01 era was impressive in itself. He brought a breath of fresh air to the roster during 2006

2008-2009 Jeff hardy was the most over superstar ive seen in a while. Its sad that his addictions ruined a lot of pushes for him. He could have so many more championship runs.

2006 became the rise of Jeff Hardy. From a mid card player to a main eventer. At the one time he was more popular than John Cena and 2008 Triple H and CM Punk.

I always liked this run of Jeff Hardy. Highlights of this run IMO include the ladder match at Armageddon, the Steel Cage Match at New Year's Revolution, and the Money in the Bank Match at WrestleMania 23. Jeff just had this amazing body of matches in his second run that far exceed his first(with the exception of the TLC Match at WrestleMania X-Seven).

I remember the vignettes for his return. I was about 9-10 years old. I just found out TNA was a thing around the time so I missed Jeff’s run there. So for a 3 good years (His match with The Rock being the last I saw before his initial departure). I was waiting for my favorite to come back after years. I remember wondering if I was dreaming when I seen the return vignette and when I settled down I was marking out like crazy. From a life long fan, Jeff Hardy I hope you come back stronger and unbeatable. (Outside of the ring)

Aw yes! This was both one of my and and my brother’s most fondest memories of 2006. Not only was it this year, that me and my family’s love for WWE was at its peak, but seeing the return of one of the most badass daredevils in all of wrestling history, just gave me and my brother so much happiness and our love for him skyrocketed like no other. He truly was and forever will be one of the most badass wrestlers of all time. Thanks for the nostalgia, homie.🙂

Was a huge fan of Jeff from the SD games but never actually seen him wrestle. Obviously, I was also a fan of Matt and followed closely his rivalry with Edge and it blew my mind as a kid when Jeff showed up on Raw.

Back in the 2000s, I mainly only watched WWF/WWE because of Team Xtreme, I remember me and my 3rd grade best friend being hyped when the rumor leaked in 06 of Jeff returning… fun times especially when it was revealed that he was gonna be playable in Smackdown Vs. Raw 2008… This videos giving me nostalgia
