Just curious-why didn't you use spacers when setting the tiles?

Did you have any trouble installing the hood after the glass tile was installed? Did you drill into the tile without breaking/cracking them? Or did you tile around the holes needed to hang the hood? And if drilling into the tile, what technique did you use including drill type and bit?

Great Vid! i'm going to be installing same size tiles.. What notch trowel did you use ? because ive been told for those size tiles to use 1/4 x 1/4 on your video it seems smaller

Hi there,
We just finished installing glass tiles. I did the grout today, but now I notice that some very small gaps are forming in a few places. It looks like I was just too thin in these places, and possible that I wiped with a damp sponge (that had too much moisture in it). I don't know. But my question is....can I just take fresh grout, same colour and consistency, and reapply. Will it bond properly?

Hey, sorry to bother again, but i'm reading online that said the need to back butter every tile cause eventually the ridges will show. I have your tiles in a champagne color. I notice you just layer them on. Have you ever noticed any ridges ? and is it a waste of time to back butter every single tile

I enjoyed you video. It was very helpful. Did you use grout when you were done tiling? I have glass subway tiles and about to install them in the kitchen but I did not want to use grout as I will be placing them tight together without using spacers. What would you suggest? I had already wiped the walls down and marked my spots. I don't want to use trimming to end the finish look on the edge as the glass is good enough where it will be. There are no sharp edge to use end trimming. What would you suggest overall. Thanks for the Video again.

Did you install tile behind the vent hood? I'm trying to figure out If I should remove my vent hood and shim it out to allow for the tile tile behind it or just put tile around it.

I too wondered whether you can get by without spacers. Is there a greater risk of cracking when the glass tile is installed without a space between the tiles?
