Norwegians really know how to make good music. This is mind blowing. I'm listening to it in loop for a almost a day

Karliene, Aurora, Kalandra what a life to have such music out there!

Kalandra, Aurora, London Grammar, Sleeping at last - These are the kinds of artists that keep delivering one after another incredible music. And I don't care if it takes years for a single track to release, please, take your time. Meanwhile I'll keep relistening to the released ones, because I can't get enough of'em, and I never will.

On the borders of safety
That's where I find peace
Where the black sand
Meets the raging seas
I see the forces
For what they truly are
Yet, I am reminded
Of my beating heart
Among the lonely rocks is where I lay my head
I hear the ocean calling, "Come with me instead"
She sings me songs of ungrateful souls
Who once thought gods could bring them home
On the borders of safety
That's where I find peace
Where the black sand
Meets the raging seas
I see the forces
For what they truly are
Yet, I'm reminded
Of my beating heart
And I could swear
That the ocean sings, and the mountains talk to me
I could swear
That I hear her breath, and her heartbeat in the air
I could swear
I could swear
On the edge of comfort
That's where I find love
And the ocean
Already knows
But she can't love you
Like you love her
There's no mercy
From Mother Earth

In essence, this song is about witnessing your own vulnerability in
comparison to the massive forces that move the world. The video tries to
convey that feeling through several intertwining narratives. The video
was made by the brilliant people in Ragnarok Film and we had a wonderful time shooting it and exploring the beautiful locations around central Norway.

[Chorus]
On the borders of safety
That's where I find peace
Where the black sand
Meets the raging seas
I see their forces
For what they truly are
Yet I'm reminded
Of my beating heart

[Verse 1]
Among the lonely rocks
Is where I lay my head
I hear the ocean calling
"Come with me instead"
She sings me songs
Of ungrateful souls
Who once thought gods
Could bring them home

[Chorus]
On the borders of safety
That's wherе I find peace
Wherе the black sand
Meets the raging seas
I see their forces
For what they truly are
Yet I'm reminded
Of my beating heart

[Verse 2]
And I could swear
That the ocean sings
And the mountains talk to me
I could swear
That I hear her breath
And her heartbeat in the air
I could swear
I could swear

[Outro]
On the edge of comfort
That's where I find love
And the ocean already knows
But she can't love you
Like you love her
There's no mercy
From Mother Earth

2:44 This moment, where the man tries to enter the sea and the other one is pushing him to the shore, hit me hard and differently. 4 days have passed since my mother admitted she wanted to commit suicide, to me, and since then, every waking moment is me trying to push her back to the shore, as she longs for the sea. To all those who feel they are on the edge, please stay. Speak out, allert people. You won't believe the lengths people will go to, to save you. You ARE wanted and needed in this life. Even if daily routine doesn't help them show it to you, the way they should.

That moment when you stumble across a new song & it becomes a part of your life. This is next level.

I listen to music like this and it makes me feel like the whole of society is playing some sort of oddly cruel game. This endless cycle of pursuit--of things, of status, of money. We all dress up for this emotional costume party and wear the most ridiculous makeups all in effort to appear content and fulfilled to everyone around us--all the while our souls are starving and most of us are so numb to it that we don't even realize it. Where are the monks? the mystics? those drawn to the strange and unearthly powers of the forests and mountains and winds? There must be a world behind the veil--and it's music like yours that makes that veil ever-so slightly more transparent.

Know I’m gonna send this song for my family brother and my friends.
Just to know I Will NOT care anymore for they love & I’m strong enough to be alone.

Damn it... Love yourself first, then your mother, no matter what.

I love it, being over 60% Scandinavian, hearing the stories from generations merging culture, history, love, and modernity into harmony to sing about the power in nature that we've so taken for granted and yet how we relate to our environment, space, our loved ones... keep witnessing and healing the forces for what we truly are and the Mother 🌎 ✨️🙏💖✨️❤️‍🩹🎵🎶🌍

Hello, I'm also a musician, one of those who create to keep from bleeding out. For a year, I couldn't cry, I was completely blocked. I just discovered your music today, it's so beautiful and profound that I've finally been able to let it all out, to let all the pain flow, and what's more, I've written a poem, lyrics for a new song while listening to your incredible music. Thank you for this, from the bottom of my heart. May the gods bless you, Kalandra. 😭🖤

i dont know if you will ever see this, but i just want to thank you. i clicked on this song expecting absolutely nothing and now, a few months later, this has become my number one favorite song in the whole world. i cant go a day without listening to it. hell; i cant go an hour. this doesnt feel like a song, this feels like a part of my soul. i have never in my entire life related to a piece of art like i relate to this song. every single word resonates with me; it is like you put into words what makes me, me. thank you, thank you, thank you. i am eternally grateful for having found this masterpiece. it makes me understand myself. thank you.
