I was 7 when the news was spreading about this upcoming series call " Star Trek: The Next Generation ". My mother told me it was a remake of an older show about humans exploring space in the future and I was blown away. And when I first laid eyes on that ship in the intro I was jaw dropped and wide eyed. It had a huge impact on me growing up and defined my hopefulness for our future as a species.
I love the new ship designs and ideas from around the D, but none will ever mean so much to me. I cried when Geordi opened those bay doors. What a treat that was to get to relive those wide eyed days of my youth.
The Enterprise D is the true heart of the Star Trek universe to me and always will be.

I'm a Trekkie. This was a wonderful video. Also on Star Trek: The Next Generation Episode Yesterday's Enterprise. When Captain Picard said, "Let's make sure history never forgets the name Enterprise".

Glad I can see all of this at once instead of parts. Thanks for the FULL video upload.

Still love the E. It’s so sleek and sexy. And I love the colors; the warp nacelles have such large bussard collectors and large outer shell to show off the blue plasma glow, and the dark gray accents on the saucer.

Aww. You didn't include the Enterprise-D refit with the 3 nacels 😢 That's my favorite ship but I loved seeing this

Just found it, and weirdly enough, at 0:23 with all Enterprises in view, the Enterprise C, an Ambassador class, is missing.

I'll never get over the fact that the NX-01 is bigger than the Defiant.

Nice presentation. I like the seamless historical lineage, even when it spread across, series, movie, book, and game.

7:30 "The Enterprise A was virtually identical to the refit but was destroyed several months before it's launched.'
Huh?

There seems to be a confusion between the refit and the Enterprise A.

Neither were destroyed "before their launch", the refit Enterprise was destroyed over the Genesis planet, the Enterprise A was never shown to be destroyed, its last appearance was at the end of The Undiscovered Country.

Since there are no stories about the destruction of the Enterprise A we can assume that it survived to be in the Starfleet museum.

And the refit and Enterprise A had identical warp engine designs.

Other than cosmetic differences inside, they were identical in every way since the Enterprise A was also a refit Constitution class ship

It was merely the renamed Yorktown, another refit Constitution class ship, as described in the novelization.

Jonathon Archer did not break the warp-2 barrier. He was at Mission Ops during both televised attempts.

The Enterprise 1701, no bloody A, B or C, had a crew compliment of 430 stated by Kirk in two episodes of the original series and every technical book since. I have no idea where you got 203 as her crew compliment.

A very interesting post, I have watched Star Trek since the 60s and I have never heard of some of these.

I can understand why it is upseting that we don't have much of any information on some of the newer ships. I mean the Enterprise-G just got introduced at the end of the last season of Picard and the Enterpise-J was first introduced in Star Trek: Enterprise and I think you might be able to see it in Star Trek Online. But as far as the details of the ship itself, I doubt there is much info out there. But I feel ya. Be nice if they made a movie or show about the Temperal Cold War. I'd hope they would at least give a proper explaination of the ship and it's systems if they actually made a movie or show about the Temperal Cold War.

The C is missing from the thumbnail. Did it travel 22 years into the future?😂

Spoke was not the first Vulcan to serve in Star Fleet, it was T’Pole with Archer on the first Enterprise
