the development of stydia is too beautiful to ignore. stiles went from having a hopeless crush based mostly on aesthetic to having a mature love for lydia after they developed a wonderful friendship and they got to know each other. lydia went from not even knowing who the hell stiles was to being desperate to preserve his life after finding companionship and comfort in him. they care about each other, they depend upon one another, they work well together, and their relationship has grown way too much from season one to be let go of. no hate to stalia at all, as I really do like malia's character and her character growth this season, but my heart belongs to stydia [endgame].

stydia!!! a lot of people don't realize that the writers have to keep lydia's feelings under lock and key. stydia is now the biggest draw and biggest ship of the show, and it's what keeps people watching. lydia is shown to have feelings for stiles multiple times, like in 4x01 when she gets jealous of stalia in the jeep for example. all of lydias other relationships were more sexual, while what she has with stiles could be real. there's no way she wants to admit her feelings and screw up a relationship with her closest friend! :)

I love Stalia because they both kinda had nobody when they were in eichen house so they were there for each other. I was a Stydia fan in season 1, 2 and 3a but when I concluded that Lydia wasn't having any feelings for Stiles, I was glad he finally found someone who has. I don't see Stydia happening because they were showing us a lot of moments where you can see Malia looking heartbroken at Stiles and there was that moment: "It's him isn't it. He's the one." So they gave us kind of a hint that Malia still has feelings for Stiles. They're also building up a relationship between Lydia and Jordan and if they aren't going to do anything with it, it would be all for nothing. Also if they do choose Stydia over Stalia and Marrish it would probably ruin the Malydia friendship. And if Stydia happens, I think it is because of the fans and not because the writers were planning to do it, if they were they would've probably given more hints in earlier seasons.

the fact that stalia started out rushed and they had sex in an insane asylum basment while stiles was highly dosed on drugs doesn't really scream otp for me not to mention that it was only built on malias lust to loose her virginity while stydia had a beautiful build up to the point from when she ignored him to lydia needing stiles is just to beautiful to ignore and in 5x16 you could totally see how they needed eachother and stiles intrest or lydia has grown and changed it started as a big crush to a mature unbreakable love and jeff said that stydia will be a focal point of season six so I am excited for 6x01 and the great stydia scene

Former Stydia shipper, but now Stalia consumes my heart. Though Stydia is long build up, they have great friendship and understand each other mentally. I can't wait that long, I just can't wait 6 seasons for someone, though they had little sparks here and there, there's no result from it at all. Which made me lose hope, and really jump on the Stiles happiness ship. Then, Malia came along showed Stiles interest more than Lydia ever done, and made Stiles happy. And their moments are just soo cute. Don't get me wrong I love Lydia still, and always will but to string Stiles on for that long knowing he would do anything for you, and still not give him any action or a sign to Stiles that she does love him that way. Is just wrong, so Stalia I believe is the endgame. Hopefully anyway.
