My first ever runescape friend was Taco75, back in 2006-2007. We met at the cows in lumby, added each other, and never spoke again. I don’t know why I’ve remembered his name all of these years, but if you’re out there Taco75, I love you and miss you bro. I hope you’re thriving and in good health.

Castle wars was absolutely my most nostalgic places for me. When I was like 14 my best friend from school and I would farm out quests and save up for items just to go play castle wars using them. I’m 32 now and still remember those times

I’m glad I enjoyed OSRS in its golden year of 2006. I played a little when the GE come out but I fell off very shortly after. Just started again 4 days ago, joined the OSRS Discord, and immediately received help, guiding me in the right direction and about the OSRS wiki and how helpful it is. The server even has a bot that automatically detects what you’re talking about (if you want it to) to link you to an article in the wiki regarding said topic. Everyone in there is super helpful and incredibly nice, and not afraid to throw a little classic “free armor trimming” style humor in there. I love this game and its community with a passion.

I remember 2006. I was 13, would play after I got off school with one of my classmates. Runescape was so alive, the wilderness was absolutely packed. It was big fish eat little fish all out war whenever school got off.

I'm only 3 minutes in but I already know this is going to be an absolute banger. This must have taken ages to edit and a lot of hard work. Awesome job dude.

There's something beautiful about the first 99 naming his character after a mob boss in Earthbound

It just occurred to me that this game carried me through 95% of my life. I started in grade four. I'm now 32 years old 😂.

Damn this brings back memories, I started playing in late 2006 till about 2010 when my account got hacked and Jagex banned my account for something the hacker did, was so soul crushing as i had completed most quests and was gearing up to finally fight the barrows brothers.
Was such a fun game, thanks for bringing back all those amazing memories.

Wow, the history of Old Nite was super cool. Very short part of the entire video but I've always found it strange that there was a random hill with a statue of a dude in the middle of the wilderness. Thanks for including that.

We all know the saying, you never truly quit Runescape, you just take extended breaks 😄

The statue and grave apparently aren't a tribute to The Old Nite, but i'm sure there is a tavern somewhere in the game with the same name, so there's that I guess.

Took me a minute to get the reference in your editing. Now I'm double here for it.
