i‘ve read some comments here and i would like to state my opinion. i think it‘s okay when muslims dance, but rather avoid “s*xual moves”. as far as i know, it’s not forbidden to dance (as long you aren’t dancing provocatively) and it’s great that muslim girls are also finding different hobbies. but telling a young girl that she has to take her hijab off just because of a dance seems crazy to me. some girls, including myself, have struggled to wear a head scarf in public and now because of a single dance, they have to get harassed to take their hijab off. it’s very discouraging when people put their beliefs against your own. you can of course also educate me on this, but this is just the way i see things.

I am a Muslim myself and i know a lot of girls who wear hijabs just because their parents tell them to wear so, I am not saying that it's not disrespectful at all it indeed is. I don't wear hijab, but I love my religion and do follow it. Okay first of all! Her dance is amazing!
Secondly as a Muslim myself, I don't think she should be judged by random people like this. She's not a child she knows what she's doing! You all don't have to lecture her actions/decisions.
Every Muslim has their own ways of connecting to Allah ( God ). You people can't just judge her character without knowing what kind of a person she really is. To be honest, she might be a better Muslim than you. Because as far as I know, no kind hearted Muslim would ever judge or criticize other Muslims and people. I don't know if the people that are commenting these judgemental comments are Muslim or not but if you are this judgmental as a Muslim than you are not a great representation of how a genuine Muslim should be.
I love her dance and also the other people that are joining in for the dance. In south Asia, there are a lot of Muslims that dance because that's a part of our culture as south asians. Dancing and music is an important part of being a south Asian especially in weddings. Your culture might be different and your upbringings might be different but that doesn't mean you can criticize whichever Muslim you see.
Allah told us not to create misunderstandings over people especially women. If you're a Muslim, ask yourself, are you doing the right thing by commenting a negative message on her or anyone's account?.

I hope everyone realizes which topics to actually focus on and how they can represent Muslim people better. I hope people can understand each other's ways of reaching out to Allah. I hope other Muslims don't think that they're better than their Muslim fellows.
If you all are real Muslims, then build yourselves into people that will inspire other non-muslims to revert or see Islam in a better view without misconceptions about Muslims.
And if you aren't a Muslim and commenting shameless comments then don't! You're not a great representation of a genuine human being.
