Beethoven: Romance No. 1 in G major, Op. 40 | Shannon Lee, violin; Beilin Han, piano

Violinist Shannon Lee is one of two Heifetz Institute alums who is among the six finalists in the current Shanghai Isaac Stern International Violin Competition, boasting one of the richest purses in the world for the winners. Shannon's association with the Heifetz Institute stretches back to her days as a 12-year-old student, then an Artist in Residence, and in 2021 as a Teaching Assistant. In this performance from a #Heifetz2021 Sunday Matinee, Shannon is joined by pianist Beilin Han to play the sublime Romance No. 1 in G major, Op. 40, by Beethoven.
