Saints' Drew Brees faces backlash after comments on national anthem protests

Here's why.

I love Football and Basketball. I thought Collin Kaepernick was a great quarter back and would have had love to see him play more. I am a blue collar worker who worked 60-70 hours a week. I watch sports to relax and escape realities of life like work, hardship, racism, sadness, and hatred. Because the real world is hard enough, for that short 3 hours i didn’t want to be reminded about anything else except for the excitement of the game.

It doesn’t mean that I don’t care because I do! It just means I don’t have fancy vacations or Ferraris or Mansion or private islands or yachts to escape to! Watching sports and PS4 are my escapes and I feel blessed for it! I have great respect for Collin Kaepernick as a Quarterback! If Collin Kaepernick would take some of his time and come out to my neighborhood to say what he wanted to say I am there 100%. What is kneeling? A publicity stunt? Is it to invoke love or hatred? There is no easy way to get a message across!
