We're in a sticky patch right now, and we need to sort it out before hopes start to fade. The CL table changes quickly: we've gone from talking about more or less guaranteed automatic qualification to now perhaps not and from the Juventus game being a free card to it now being a game from which we need to take something. We've got tough fixtures coming up in the Prem too, and the manner of the defeat at Tottenham coupled with a general leaky defence and the fact that Watkins and Bailey, our best two attacking outlets last season, have gone entirely missing. It's almost as if some uncertainty has crept in at exactly the time that all our players are back from injury. Maybe there's some uncertainty coming from Emery over all the options? What's been worrying is the lack of intensity in the last few matches - all very casual and a bit complacent. I trust in Emery to figure things out, but it's worrying, and you now look at the next home PL game against Crystal Palace not as we would have during our amazing home run in the first half of last season - as a guaranteed win - but as one that we might now struggle through.
