This is great! Fantastic! I also have an idea, but I have not conceptualized yet, and you encourage me to do so. I installed Ecosia and I am really happy the world has people like you!

Hey guys I use your app it's a great idea you had. And thanks for what you doing xD

But I wanted to ask (because it's in the mind of the users) is
Do you can take a next step to become a browser?

1- Because depending on others browser it's annoying, every time we do search something apps start to open...

2- I bet it would be simpler to you to get more people using your browser and to us too by only have to search for and get info right away.

I only use on my mobile phone so idk how it's like on a PC, but try to do something.

Big thank you for helping!!

Yes it's a grand idea to plant tree's and I'd like to support Ecosia but are these tree's the faster growing type like Pine tree's or do they also plant Oaks, Elms and other slower growing varieties or do you plant tree's that match the existing variety?
The other problem that we have in our world is housing and I have made strawbale and cob structures using lime putty mortars & plasters instead of the standard cement and gypsum which is more wasteful and environmentally costly?
Unlike cement, lime mortars absorb CO2, use less energy to produce, have much better acoustics, are warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer.
Because my house walls are about 3 feet thick the lime mortar that covers it also allows the building to move and breath because it's less rigid.
The house is a cob structure built on a 3 course rubble-stone wall with no foundations or guttering it also has a straw roof, has been standing in the same place for over 300 years and blends nicely into it's surroundings in the south-west of England.
Lastly, when you use lime mortars there is no waste because what you don't use can be put into a container, sealed with a little water and will stay like that until you need to use it again. The older it is the stickier and better it becomes and when mixed with fibres like animal hair, hessian or sisal this increases it's tensile strength. I have worked in sustainable buildings since 1998 and if you have any questions I'd be happy to answer them as best as I can.

Ecosia should finance providing contraceptives for poor people around the world after they're done planting trees. With the growing human population, I doubt many of those trees will survive.
