I'm 61 years old and dress as I want. I have slim legs and small fanny but unless I'm in yoga class, I will not wear anything that doesn't cover the lady bits. I'm sorry I just don't/can't wear leggings with a short shirt front.

I am 62. I wear leggings with longer tops all the time. Never thought about “appropriate” in terms of before 50 or after 50. I think of it more in terms of whether it makes my butt look big regardless of how old my butt happens to be. That said, I like your choices and the fact that they’re affordable and purchased where the real world shops.

I like your suggestions. You can pull off the wearing leggings not covering your rear or thighs, but for me, I love wearing my leggings with long sweater or shirt tunics and then accessorizing.

I used to think I was too old for leggings but I saw a lady on Pinterest with a white shirt dress over leggings and she looked so elegant I tried it myself and I loved it.

I'm almost 59 and I literally live in leggings. They are comfortable and you can wear them almost everywhere with anything. Lightweight ones are perfect for spring and summer, get the heavier ones for winter. They're my favorite things to wear

I understand where a lot of these comments are coming from. BUT let me tell you why these outfit suggestions work for me personally. I work in a corporate Fitness center. I need to be dressed in Athletic clothes to train clients. But I also need to be able to throw on a cardigan or something if I have a meeting with the CEO or HR dept during my work day. I like the transitional layering pieces so I don't constantly look like I'm working out. I know this isn't everyone's situation but these outfits work for what I'm looking for. Thank you Angela

Great video! I personally very seldom wear leggings. I just personally feel naked. lol If I wear them, I must have a shirt that completely covers the crotch and bootie area. I'm extremely modest. I just feel so self conscience if any of that area shows. I have no problem with others wearing it, just not for me.

Personally don't think leggings pair well with a short top unless you're working out. Even with a duster or jacket it still looks weird in the front IMO.😉
