I have not heard a better Nick Cave track. Tender Prey was the album he was always striving towards as an artist. He is still interesting today, but I think he said it best here.

I watch a guy who rides the freight trains, "Shoestring the Hobo." Cool guy, puts his adventures on YouTube. He talks about some guys in Wyoming outside of a bar I think in Gillette and it's chilling that these fuckers were going to kill him and he had to run for his life. This song so reminds me of the story he was telling. And in this day and time that something like this could happen in the US....unbelievable.
