2014 Infiniti Q50 Engine Start and Stall

I have a 2014 Infiniti Q50, and the engine will start and stall in the winter time when it is warm and been shut off around 10 mins. This start happened in Dec of 2017, brought to dealer and they can not find the issue, the car had no fault code.
Eventually the dealer offered me to clean the engine air intake valve(paid $150.00 from my own pocket), and seems it is not happened again.
But I do realize that there are couple 2014 Q50 owner have had the same issue, and some of them is even worse, that they need start 6-7 times to actually start the car, so I decide to post this video and hope get some peoples attention, and find the cause of the problem.

Just happened to me today for the first time. Went into the store fine, came out and started the car and it immediately died. Started it again right after with no issues… very weird! Any updates on this???

Am not sure if you found the problem with you’re vehicle, but I think this may help you. So the computer/ecu wasn’t reading the transmission code and the same for the transmission. So the transmission was broken but wouldn’t show a code so the dealership drop the oil pan and it was metal every where and oil was very black for a 60k car. Covered under warranty I hope this helps in any way possible. Good luck

2014 Q50 110k miles did it once on 11/12/21 would start then shut off did it 2-3 tinted before it stayed on. Tell was about 35° first real cold day off 2021 winter. Car started fine when engine was cold. Issue happened after going on the store for 10min. Getting a new battery soon because it's on its way it and i going think it'll last this winter but i don't think that's the issue.

I have same issue since i bought it with 33k miles on it. Now 103k miles still sometimes i am getting it. It does intermittent, sometimes doesnt do it for 3-4 months and then one day doing it a few times. After stall when i started second time it starts very quick and makes metal rattling noise. I guess crankshaft sensor issue. It is $100 part i might replace it myself

Anyone figure out what the issue is? My 2014 q50 does this all the time now. Always starts fine the first time, but after I drive it a bit and run into a store or pay for gas, it doesn't wanna start again unless I give it gas to keep the rpm up for a sec or 2. It happened very rarely last year, now it's every time I go get gas or something where I shut it off and then start it again shortly after.

I had a problem where I starts and the started was rougher then usual and the car wouldn’t pass 1 k rpm end up just being a dirty throttle body

Hey I been Having the same problem, I have the 2015 q50. It runs for like 2sec and dies but always starts the 2nd time. Please any solutions? I’m worried
