Going Interstellar with TESS and Kepler

For the longest time, space seemed like just a big, nearly empty place. However, as we learned more about the universe around us, we discovered other planets orbiting our Sun, and even planets that orbit other stars trillions of miles away. In this video, discover how NASA has explored the space beyond Earth and our solar system with spacecraft like Voyagers 1 and 2, and how we've discovered thousands of planets outside of our solar system -- also called exoplanets -- with space telescopes like Kepler and TESS.

Astute! Simple, No glossed eye reception! Enjoyed it. Keep it up! 🇺🇸

I love NASA = National Aeronautics and Space Administration. I love TESS = Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satalite.

I enjoyed this presentation and hope more of them will be produced in future.

Really nice video and love the way it was put together. What did you use to do that?

A great presentation. Very well done. It is the advanced in space telescope tech that will one day lead to interstellar missions. The next big space tech advance needs to be propulsion. And sustained habitability. Also ergonomics and health sustainability. Artificial gravity is a dream of sci-do. Reality means the need for a rotating hoop design to sustain as near 1g as possible. But i am getting sidetracked here (as usual) Can't wait to see the results from TESS.
Best regards.

Oh NASA, What would this world and the rest of the Universe be without you?

Can NASA Stop, deflect destroy Asteroid with diameter 350-500 meters? if Impact occurs in ocean(hypothetical scenario) will it be extinction level Event? twitter handle - @raayar

Nasa one day you can make a real comparison of the size fo solar system because the ones that make jupiter make a big bum and the sun not in its size

Is TESS a (secret) failure? Kepler found thousands of Exo's in the 1st year but TESS has found only 3 of a predicted 30k. If it's just poor communications with the public and the team is patting each other on the back, maybe MIT or NASA find an intern to explain how our tax $ are performing to us commoners. Better communication might result in more funding for other missions - radio silence or just a bunch of data sheets that I don't have time to decode is a daily dose of disappointment. If you would post a weekly update I'd happy to share it. That could be a start. If it's failed to find planets that's big news too, no?

ahahaha, that guy looks so awkward amongst the digital animations! He's never looking in the right spot. Next time you need to tell him how large the animations are going to be so he know where to look.
