That was a very controlled lap by Checo, he has at least 0.3 sec in the pocket for the final try. Nice job. Well disciplined approach. Checo's level of professionalism was on display. He had a rough practice and q1 and 2 and STILL ended up on pole. !!!

F1... Checo Pérez's great strategy to WIN the Pole Position... Without standing out much in the previous tests, learning from the track, getting sensations, improving his car, also suffering, and staying within the top 10; and in the decisive one of the qualy he hit the table. I remembered a very Mexican song: "You don't have to get there first, you just have to know how to get there." Max will no doubt come out with the knife between his teeth.
