I have the 12x and have compared the S21FE as well, the front camera on the 12x suffers from overexposure and doesnt capture the colours quite as well as the S21 FE, HOWEVER, this can be easily fixed with GCAM, but the back camera is a thing of beauty and captures videos and pictures at the same level as the S21FE if not better in some areas. Both phones are fantastic and similar in many ways, but the thing that sold me is the processor (the SD 870 is very stable and energy efficient), battery, and overall value for the money. At the end of the day, it really comes down to personal preference.

My whole family has xiaomi because of the prices. But when they saw my s21 fe photos and vids they were genuinely impressed. Paper specs for xiaomi are one thing, real life performance another

I always recommend low-end and midrange Xiaomi devices compared to Samsung (except A52S) because they are a better value for money. However, when it comes to flagships, software and camera become more important and Xiaomi definitely needs to work harder to match Samsung and Apple.

I think detail and dynamic range and exposure are the most important things here and Samsung wins those. Many other go to Xiaomi tho. If you make the pictures more vibrant and lower the exposure wouldn't the Xiaomi be pretty close? Even though Dynamic range propably isn't Vibrance and you would just enhance the colours. Idk.

here in Ireland s21 FE is insanely expensive way over €500, second hand price higher than Xiaomi 12 amazon price or at least 12X, 100 euro more than 11T Pro don't get why, people don't even use Dex
