I really enjoyed this show. This is my first time watching a stage production of the show. I grew up on the movie with Jennifer Hudson and Beyoncé and I’ve listened to the cast album. So happy to have find this recording.

This version falls very FLAT .Check out the 1983 Version.

Mixed reaction. Some of the vocals were really excellent as well as the acting, but by the same token, missing in terms of vocals and acting. Sometimes up and exhilirating, other times flat and blah but overall a good show I think.

It really bugs me that they stuck with the OBC costume design as much as they could but not the choreography? They should've stuck with the original choreography for this production.
Edit: I would like to add, they technically aren't to be in front of the table when performing It's All Over, and And I Am Telling You, as there are supposed to be mirrors on top of the table. That's why when you watch the OBC, you'll see them like putting on makeup and fixing their wigs as if there was mirror is in front of them.
