Hi Bearlaff,

I want to try something new today, sharing about something I am really passionate off, skincare! uhhh-hummm, who doesn't right! I will be sharing with you my current skincare products and AESOP products that I got with the detail price in Singaporean Dollars (converted to Indonesia Rupiah) so you'll get the full information if you are interested to try out the brand. By no means, this review is my authentic feel of the products, If it's compatible with my skin type or not.

Some of Aesop's products require a skin 'purge', causing a breakout or purge of the skin. This is because the products do not have additives that most skincare products do, and the skin is essentially detoxing. Give the product two weeks of usage before deciding if it's for you or not. I've been using a full Aesop routine for a year now.

ive been using aesop for the past 4 years and i do live in the hottt and humid jakarta too lol!! Been trying some of their products but now settle for amazing facial cleanser, seeking silence hydrator, in two minds toner, parsley seed serum, ive been using their mandarin orange body balm and violet hair cream and rosehip lip balm too and they're amazing. And yes! Ive hd the same initial experience of early breakouts but it stopped aftwr a while i guess its just an adjustment to a whole different skincare (?) u shud def give it another try!!

I’ve got very sensitive reactive skin. An i just got into Aesop an i thought i would’ve broken out because of essential oils. But it didn’t bother me. It claimed my skin. The cleaning oil is lovely. The stickinesses last for like a sec in. The parsley seed serum an it sinks in without a trace. Leave my skin smooth an calm.

They have different types of creme de la mer... light gel, soft cream and the original

Also you will purge if you change skincare especially if your skin needs help.

I use Aesop products and they’re awesome. I have sensitive and oily skin but no issues so I guess it just varies by user. If you’re into modern minimalist brands and want zero breakouts, you may want to try Malin+Goetz (no I don’t work for them lol). www.malinandgoetz.com They make the safest skin and hair care products on the market. Period. The two founders actually started their own skin care brand because they also broke out from fancy expensive products that claimed to be the best. Malin+Goetz is still a bit pricey but everything they make just works and works well. I’ve used myself and still do!

I'm interested to know if you gave Aesop another go and if so, did it break out again? The company is really easy with exchanges, even if you have used some of the product, here in Australia anyway so I'm guessing it would be the same in other countries. They happily exchanged a bottle that I had used for a week with something else until I found what worked.

Yes Aesop break you out immediately but after a few weeks your skin will clear up don’t you know anything about the brand

For sensitive skin al these anti aging stuff an ingredients on the market is just too much inlove how the company is just clean simple no fuss. An effective. Dr haushka is another fav. Brand of mine. Really nice. Natural line
