I get -21 doing it in my head. By 6÷3=2×2=4, now it's 4-4+5-3+7-9×2=18÷3=6÷1=6×5=30, then it's 4-4+5-3+7-30=-21

Imagine a teacher who explains what PEMDAS is but fails to explain what the PRECEDENCE actually is. This is what my math teacher did to us. Without the PRECEDENCE this is where most people have a tendency to become lost in math for good and give up.😳 Unfortunately my teacher never fully explained what the PRECEDENCE actually was particularly in a way that didn't seem like a dirty trick if you're not aware of what's going on within the order of operations.
Basically my teacher gave us a very vague explanation of what the PRECEDENCE was when the explanation should of been the PRECEDENCE according to mathematics in the department of the order of operations means that within an equation if you have at least two operations present that are of equal priority then the rule states you must work from the left side of the equation first to the right side of the equation. In this equation clearly you can see that division and multiplication have equal priority and given the division would come first since the mathematical rule suggests you work the problem from left to right.
Without having full knowledge and a true understanding of what the PRECEDENCE actually is unfortunately you will never get the right answer. You will be left in chaotic mathematical confusion and forever lost. I consider the PRECEDENCE to be the most important element that exists in the order of operations because without it nothing works, I Promise You

I don't know why people are getting 1 or -21. There's no negatives, and it's pretty straightforward. You divide first 21 ÷ 7= 3. Then multiplication 3 x 3 = 9 simple.

Recap: (6 × 1/3 × 2) + (-4) + 5 + (-3) +7 + (-9 × 2 × 1/3 × 5) = 2 + 7 + (-30) = -(30 - 9) = -21.

For the people who said 1 got mislead in a way. Multiplication and division are equal and it is whatever comes first. What I like to do in this situation is this

No need to pick a "first" if you write it as 21 × 1/7 × 3; no matter where you start, you get 9.
