I'm muslim and I relate to this mentality a lot. Regardless of how sh it everything may seem, god has a way out for you, you just have to trust him and be patient

21 soon to be 22. I feel like I focus so much on what the future holds that I forget to live in the moment and feel good in the present. Life is so short and it’s scary how fast it goes by, you can get in your head trying to experience everything from traveling, making money, women, making friends, gym, school, making my parents proud, it just feels like I have so much left to achieve

I don't think this was really advice to everyone. This was what he would tell his past self. Things will be okay if you keep working for what you want and bettering yourself. If you only hear words and don't actually PUSH then you're going nowhere but under.

Probably the worst thing you could tell your younger self. ... you might not have gotten Where You Are if you felt secure and knowing that everything is going to be okay.

The exact opposite of what I would tell my 21 year old self. I would say 'No, everything is not just gonna just fall into place for you like you think it is. Yes, you'll get the girl and have the nice home but you'll be broke, stressed out and over worked in 20 years trying to maintain it all, so get off you're arse and work harder now, you can take it easy later'.
