Hi Jan, love your Laura Nelkin shawl with the beads! It is a nice blend of scarf/shawl. Your stitched pieces all look wonderful! I feel for you on the Modern Folk piece. I can totally see that directional thing happening to me easily. I have not seen Chestnut Crescent before and yours is INCREDIBLE! The Light of Spring looks like it would be so cool to knit! Will have to take a look at that on Rav. Lots of eye candy in that yarn shop! Happy stitching/knitting!

I have heard that gluten intolerant people have really good luck with EInkorn. It's an ancient wheat that hasn't been hybridized. Have him do some research... spelt and kamut flour might also be good. King Arthur has an awesome tutorial on their website for creating a sourdough starter, using the starter, and how to keep it going. I put mine in the fridge and take it out occasionally when I want to bake with it. It's gone 3 months without feeding in the fridge and is still fine!

I love this video! Lots of interesting things to ooo and aaa at. I love the sweater. My bugbear is picking stitches up although I’ve been knitting for years! I’m going to conquer that this year. That’s to and socks. And magic loop. And....plus all my cross stitch 😊 I would love to be organised and make plans but life happens a lot just now. Are you going to move south again?

I do not buy a particular brand. I look for the label NONGMO on the package. I also buy baking soda, corn starch, baking powder and sugar all marked NONGMO. I find these at my local grocery store or Whole Foods. I hope this helps. Lynn
