Fun Fact: Chris Evans wasn't even suppose to make a Cameo. He just happened to be in the area when they were filming and Ryan called him up asking if he wanted to be in the movie.

After Endgame was done, Chris Evans's Captain America is done, so that cameo caught me by surprise. It's also a way to give us one more time the chance to see Chris Evans and the Captain America shield in a movie (although in separate shots)

I feel like the whole Marvel scene wouldn't have worked if they didn't have the Chris Evans cameo. That made it great.

As cool as it was to see a lightsaber, there wasn't really any point to that and it just seemed self-indulgent.

Fun fact this was added late into the film development. The people making the film realized that now they were own by Disney they have special access to things.

Another fact is that the cameo was also done last minute since chris Evan was shooting another show at the time and Ryan asked if he could make a quick cameo
