There's a big, and very confusing, difference between shares that a corporation AUTHORIZES at formation (or by amendment) and the shares that are actually ISSUED to shareholders.

What is the max number of authorized shares can a cooperation register for? Can they register for more then 10M? What if they want to authorize 100B shares ?

Do they have to disclose this information to investors or are they allowed to not disclose the number of available shares that have not been issued?
