For both parties selling Kylian Mbappe makes perfect sense. The player won't stay at PSG beyond the summer of 2024 and he informed them that he won't trigger the option to renew his contract with the club for an extra year and after those news have been leaked to the media, the club has made it clear that he has a deadline to sign a new contract, if not he's getting sold this summer. After his comments about the club, saying that PSG are divisive as a football club and a team, saying that it's down to the owners as to why they haven't won the champions league, and playing for PSG doesn't help his Ballon Dor chances, he needs to be sold after all of this, Kylian Mbappe cannot be allowed to come back to PSG because it's borderline disrespectful for any player to criticize the club that you play for. If he decides to stay for one more year by renewing his contract, PSG can sell him next summer because Real Madrid are planning for his arrival next year, if not sell him now because if you cannot convince your star player to renew his contract, there's no point in keeping him and letting him walk for nothing.
