Aurora Police Capt. Marc Paolino offered updated information on a home invasion-turned-deadly shooting where a 16-year-old girl was shot and killed on Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2025 in the 10600 block of East Jewell Avenue.

I know nothing about this tragic situation and I am not commenting on this particular clip.
I use want to say that Ive lived in Aurora since 1979 and our police dept has had a horrible reputation as long as I’ve lived here.
Scandal after scandal, and countless accusations of excessive force or other corrupt behavior.
Do not EVER trust the police, hold them accountable, abolish qualified immunity and prosecute these gangsters every time the break the law. No more collusion. No more coverups. And please, for gods sake, stop referring to them as “hero’s”.
We all know what sort of psycho is attracted to that job in the first place.
I am only posting this here because I assume Aurora PD monitors social media posts like this and I want them to see how this citizen ( law-abiding and tax-paying) feels about their corruption.

We the People cannot trust or believe anything any law enforcement officers say... In my opinion, a Federal Citizen Internal Affairs Department must be formed to investigate all law enforcement use of force cases, and shooting cases. Law enforcement cannot be trusted or believed, they have lost all credibility, respect, integrity and honor...
