Unbelievable Reese’s cups

I used to love this part of the job. We used to cut a triangle out of them so they could go on the edge of the cup and it always took so long, but it was a fun repetitive part of the day

Considering how big of a company cold stone is, I’d imagine it wouldn’t be impossible supplied directly from Reece’s so that they wouldn’t waste so much plastic? Oh wait I forgot most companies don’t care about the environment

Honestly I'd do this all day, it's something beautifully calming about repetitive work. I can just brain out and day dream without doing anything wrong or messing up or getting yelled at.

Boss: "You've been unwrapping Reese's peanut butter cups for thirty minutes. You have three in the container!"

I loved doing mindless tasks like this. They would consume a chunk of my shift, I didn't need to worry about not knowing any finer ever-changing details, and I didn't have to interact with others. It was perfect.

Punishment? I’d look forward to something this peaceful. Whenever my managers give me “tedious” work I celebrate because that means less customer interaction and my day goes by quickly.
