China's EV Maker XPeng Aims to Expand Presence in Europe

Mar.08 -- Brian Gu, vice chairman and president of XPeng Inc., discusses the Chinese electric-vehicle maker's financial results, strategy and outlook. Guangzhou-based Xpeng reported a narrowing loss in the fourth quarter and deliveries that beat its own expectations by 30%, a sign the startup is building a solid footing in the world’s largest market for cleaner cars. Chinese made cars vs German made cars... no competition... if I want to get to B from A forever, I buy German. Regardless of price point, worldwide landfill is full of Chinese price points.

IMO Xpeng is the only new wave EV company outside Tesla that is affordable, and it totally makes more sense to buy G3 according to it`s features thatn any other cheap EV for the price, until tesla will come up with something, when Xpeng will become profitable it will take off rapidly

So many Chinese car companies launch cheap products in Western countries and then run away before warranty claims start for poor quality. Maybe better to rebrand when selling abroad to try to avoid the negative brand implications. 😬
